Using Google Reader for your Podcasts

Every so often, I will also include information on how to easily get these spiffy Disney Podcasts. Here's the first article and it deals with using Google Reader for your podcast feeds:

Step 1:

Go to http://reader.google.com
If you don't have a Google account, you'll need to create one. Don't
worry, it's free.

Step 2:

Say you want to add a podcast to your listing. It's easy:

a) Click on Edit Subscriptions (you'll see this link about the middle
of your page)
b) Click on Add a Feed (you'll also see this link about in the middle
of your page)
c) Type in the link you have discovered. It should look something like this:

http://www.mouseguest.com/weekly/ (go ahead, try this one out, it's my favorite!)

d) A preview will come up. Go ahead and click subscribe (this button
will be in the middle of the screen, just above the center).

Step 3:

When a new podcast is available, you will see a bold message on the
left hand side of the screen. You can't miss it.

To save a new podcast, simply right click on the link you will see
that says, "Original Audio Source". Make sure you know where you save
the file. Personally, I have a folder on the desktop named
"Podcasts" that I save all of the files into.

You're all set!

You can now listen to the the podcast either on your portable mp3
player, your favorite media player on your computer or burn it to a CD
and listen to your heart's content!
